First version

One person can build it with AI tools

What it is

This is a matching app for people who build things, such as hardware tinkerers, indie developers, musicians and designers. Each person lists their skills, interests and the projects they want help with. The app suggests people with complementary skills, using AI to compare profiles, and lets two people who like each other start a private chat. A public board shows open project ideas. Free users get a limited number of matches a month. Paid users get skill and location filters, project boards and unlimited matches. Events and team plans come later.

The problem it solves

Someone with an idea for a robot, a song or an app often lacks one key skill, and has no easy way to find a partner outside their friends. Facebook groups and Reddit threads are messy, hard to search and full of people who never reply. They want to meet the right collaborator and start working.

Who it suits

  • Indie builders already active in a maker or hobby community
  • Someone who can run a community and post online every week
  • Non-technical founders happy to build with Lovable and Supabase

How it makes money

  • Free plan with 5 matches a month
  • Pro plan at ₹299 a month for unlimited matches, filters and project boards
  • Pro Teams plan at ₹999 a month for group collaboration and event tools
  • A 10 percent cut on event tickets and 30 percent on template sales

How to test it this month

  1. 1Before building anything, start a Telegram or Discord group for makers in one city or one craft, and personally introduce ten pairs of people.
  2. 2Track how many introductions turn into a started project. If few do, fix the matching idea before you write any app code.
  3. 3Then build a plain profile and chat version, invite the group's members, and ask each one to bring a friend with a different skill.

What to watch out for

A matching app is useless until it fills up. With ten users there are no good matches and people leave. Trust is the other problem: strangers share contact details, so you need reporting, blocking and some verification from day one. You will hold personal data, so check India's data protection law with a professional. Pairs may also move to WhatsApp.

Costs and prices are estimates from our plan, not results from a real business. Nothing here promises income.
