Atal Incubation Centres
Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog
A network of 72 incubators backed by Atal Innovation Mission, many focused on sectors such as health, energy, agriculture, education and cyber security. Startups can join a centre for workspace, equipment, mentors, business planning, industry partnerships and help reaching seed capital. Government grants go to the centre rather than to startups directly.

Current status
AIM's home page says the portals for new ATL, AIC and ACIC applications are not open. That concerns institutions setting up centres. No central founder intake is shown, and each existing centre runs its own.
Who can apply
- Innovative startup aiming to be scalable
- Fits the focus sector of the chosen centre
- Accepted through that centre's own selection
How to apply
- 1Look up Atal Incubation Centres in India on the AIM site
- 2Contact a centre that suits your sector
- 3Apply through its own intake
The catch
The ₹10 crore figure online is a grant to set up a centre, not money for your startup. AIM publishes no founder amount, so ask each centre about its fees, equity and any seed support.
We read this on the official page on 4 November 2026. Rules and dates change, so confirm there before you apply. Founders Wing is not connected to this scheme, does not help with applications and never charges for access to it.
