Current status
STPI's page describes a three-year outlay and was last updated 22 January 2021. The June 2026 playbook still lists it. STPI's startup portal could not be opened, so a current call is not confirmed.
Who can apply
- Working on a software product, including embedded electronics
- Based at one of the 12 listed Tier-II locations
- Selected on innovation, team strength and business proposal
- DPIIT recognition is encouraged, per the June 2026 playbook
How to apply
- 1Contact the STPI centre in your location to ask about open calls
- 2Apply through STPI's startup portal during a call
The catch
The published term looks to have passed and no recent call could be confirmed. Ask STPI directly before planning around this money. It also only covers startups at the 12 named cities.
We read this on the official page on 4 November 2026. Rules and dates change, so confirm there before you apply. Founders Wing is not connected to this scheme, does not help with applications and never charges for access to it.
