Current status
The approval dated 1 February 2019 covers five years, which has passed. No published extension was found, but MeitY Startup Hub still lists the scheme and the June 2026 playbook includes it. Ask a centre if it still has funds.
Who can apply
- IT-based startup, recognised by DPIIT per the June 2026 Startup India playbook
- Working with emerging technology in one of the scheme's seven areas of social relevance
- Selected and supported by a TIDE 2.0 incubation centre
How to apply
- 1Open the list of TIDE 2.0 incubation centres on MeitY Startup Hub
- 2Pick a centre that suits your sector and contact it
- 3Apply to its cohort if one is running
The catch
The original five-year term has run out, so a centre may have no money left to give. Confirm funds with the incubator first. The investment stage is not a grant and each centre sets its own terms.
We read this on the official page on 4 November 2026. Rules and dates change, so confirm there before you apply. Founders Wing is not connected to this scheme, does not help with applications and never charges for access to it.
