Long-running government finance for Indian companies taking home-grown technology to commercial use, or adapting imported technology for wider use in India. Current status
TDB's active calls table lists a general call open from 17 December 2025 to 31 December 2030. Its startup-specific call closed on 10 April 2025. The application portal's security certificate failed in our check, so the form itself was not viewed.
Who can apply
- Indian industrial concern or other agency
- Developing and commercially applying indigenous technology, or adapting imported technology
- Equity cannot exceed the capital paid up by promoters
How to apply
- 1Read TDB's project funding guidelines
- 2Register and apply on TDB's online portal, since applications are online only
- 3Money is released in tranches against technical and financial milestones
The catch
This is a loan with repayment, aimed at ready-to-commercialise projects with real project costs. A separate, more generous startup call has closed. Write to TDB if the online portal gives you trouble.
We read this on the official page on 4 November 2026. Rules and dates change, so confirm there before you apply. Founders Wing is not connected to this scheme, does not help with applications and never charges for access to it.
