Grants to turn an idea into a tested product. A startup can get an upfront amount of up to ₹2 lakh, then more in phases based on its stage and performance until the product is viable. The limit is higher for startups with a founder who is a woman, BC, SC, ST, minority or differently abled.

APIS home page announces the application portal stays open on a rolling basis. G.O. dated 24.03.2025 says the policy is valid five years from notification or until replaced.

The catch
Money comes in phases, so ₹15 lakh is reached only if you keep clearing reviews. Operating guidelines are issued separately, so ask what each stage demands before you plan your spend.
