Seed Funding for Startups Scheme

A seed grant for DPIIT recognised startups registered in Haryana. It pays for validating an idea, proof of concept, prototype development, market research, marketing and some travel. The number of grants is capped by block category. Founders present to a committee that reviews applications each quarter.

Gazette scheme dated 23 July 2024 runs to 06.07.2027 under Haryana State Startup Policy 2022. Scheme page says each quarter's applications are evaluated the next quarter.

- Category 1 startup registered with Startup Haryana
- DPIIT recognised, with registered office in Haryana
- Holds a Haryana Udhyam Memorandum
- Not in the state's restricted list of activities
- Has not taken similar incentives under another state policy

The catch
Office rent, team salaries, laptops and daily travel are all excluded. Travel and market research are capped at ₹50,000 each, so little remains unless you have real development or marketing costs.
