Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), Government of Kerala
A small non-repayable grant for Kerala innovators at the idea, design or proof of concept stage with a technology-based product. It covers work such as prototyping, testing and validation. You can apply before incorporating, but need a registered company and a KSUM Unique ID before any money is released. Paid in milestone tranches.

Who can apply
- Innovators based in Kerala
- At ideation, design or proof of concept stage
- Innovative technology-based product
- Private limited, LLP or OPC and a KSUM Unique ID before disbursal, not at application
- No application or grant under this scheme in the past three months
How to apply

- 2If shortlisted by email, pitch to the Expert Committee
- 3After approval, submit documents and sign an agreement with KSUM
The catch
The call window is not published on the scheme page, so confirm with the scheme office. Founder salaries, fixed assets and rent are not allowed, and only tech products qualify.
