Who can apply
- Any Indian citizen with an innovative idea, including students
- Phase II is only for PRISM innovators or those with proof of concept backed by another government agency
- Proposal must lead to a prototype, model, process or marketable product
How to apply
- 1Read the PRISM guidelines and application format on the DSIR site
- 2Send one signed PDF to a TOCIC outreach centre, with a copy to DSIR
- 3The centre forwards it with expert comments for DSIR evaluation
The catch
The forms and rules are old, so confirm the scheme is still funding before you prepare. Reach out to a TOCIC centre first. It suits physical inventions and processes more than software products.
We read this on the official page on 4 November 2026. Rules and dates change, so confirm there before you apply. Founders Wing is not connected to this scheme, does not help with applications and never charges for access to it.
