Current status
The page says applications are reviewed on merit on a rolling basis, all year.
Who can apply
- Places people in jobs, helps enterprises hire, or raises household incomes, at meaningful annual scale.
- Results can be confirmed through registries, audits, evaluation partners, or bank and UPI records.
- Historical delivery data to set a credible baseline.
- Seeking money to expand proven work, not only to fund activity.
- India is the listed focus geography.
How to apply
- 1Apply on the Wadhwani Grants page with your organisation, model, geography, tracks and outcomes.
- 2The foundation reviews your work and data for fit.
- 3If approved, you sign a grant agreement and an independent baseline is set.
The catch
This is for proven organisations at scale, not new startups. Money follows verified outcomes, so you fund delivery first and the grant comes later. A software product without job or income results will not fit.
